"Was" a great player but carries so much baggage I would say it's a big let off kr not signing him, still would have liked them to spend all that cash on one player.

Depends on what value you think you'd get from a player in what position. Would Mason on 180k give you 130k more value than Dowes on 50k for example? From a balance perspective in my squad i'd happily pay 180k for a half back, hooker, full back etc but i wouldnt for a prop forward.

On the same point will Mason offer more than berrigan?
