Pic must have been taken before the Championship play off against Trinity as Bateson was injured in a clash with Rocky Turner and had to miss the Cup Final the following weeks.

Third from left deffo Colin Cole 6'4", Colin Cooper was about 5'10" as I remember certainly no more than that. Tom Sutton was big and in his 30's when he joined from Rovers and the extreme left player fits that bill.
As far as extreme right front row is concerned my records show that these may fit the bill.
Holgate as stated, Brian Hambling (I don't think), Jim Lawson (quite possible) or Walters, a reserve hooker.
Somebody will know the answer. Bill Dalton?

I remember that team, unfortunately i cannot remember all the names. However, apart from Mick Scott (who was my all time favourite Hull FC player,) i would hazard a guess that i am the only member of this forum who has all their autographs

Just spotted this last night Here's mine (the most difficult one from memory was the last on the front row Left to right it looked like Turner but he joined Doncaster a year earlier If I remember rightly so I'll go for Holgate))
