There is a significant difference between pointing out a weakness in a player and wanting their head on a plate. And it was more than a few games back as well. Not sure why you'd even bring it up TBH.

Watched his post match interview last night, and by the look in his eyes I don't think even he fully understands how he managed it. Getting across there was a feat in itself, but to then pull off a tackle like that was just incredible.
When he's talking to Bill Arthurs his eyes are saying "I did it, I know I did it, but I haven't a clue as to how I did it" almost as if he's as stunned as the rest of us as to what happened.

Also, even if Fox had somehow managed to stay in touch I don't think he would have been able to get the ball down, because Tom also managed to turn him over and was about to get his body between ball and ground.

It will become a legendary Fc moment. To do it in any game would be enough, but 80th minute of a pulsating derby was just the cherry on top of the cake.

Not really...earlier on in season Briscoe was making same mistakes as Hall but not getting dropped or critised and people just pointed it out.

I've pointed out weaknesses in just about all our players. They do have some you know. I'm still not aware of anyone wanting Briscoe's head on a plate though. Maybe you could provide an example? Otherwise we might have to conclude that you're talking bollox.

As has been said on other threads it all went into slow motion. They had a three man overlap and our nearest man was level with the sticks. They had to score. Still can't beleive they didn't. Great nights entertainment topped off by a breath-taking finale.

Immense strength from Briscoe, especially from a 20 year old. Great timing as well - you can see him changing his stride pattern to get in the perfect position for the tackle as he runs across.
