i think its an improvement so i dont see why people are calling for agars head but just need to improve on the pitch a bit more

We could be 1st or 2nd and the lynch mob would still be out for Agar...

At the end of the day if we finish in the play-offs we have done well, we are building a platform, but few see that, yes we still have issues, mainly inconsistency but I have faith as will the majority of fans, this board only represents a minority of the faithful, fortunatley...it comes alive when we play poorly

There's no doubt we're in a better position than this time last year. At the the start of this season I thought that fourth place was a possibility but would have settled for sixth, all things considered. The thing that annoys me is that we never seem to learn from the things of the past.

A lot of people on this board would rather we looked good and lost rather than look bad and win.

The manner of the win is soon forgotten but the place on the table will last for years. As far as that goes then, I'd take one nil on Thursday night !!!

It's blatantly obvious we have improved, still work to do for Agar but he has taken us in the right direction. Oh sorry it's down to the players not Agar, except when we lose then it's all Agar's fault and the players have nothing to do with it.

We are where we should be given our personnel. The fact we are performing to our level just shows what a poor job he was doing in previous seasons.

Improvements are mostly down to Dennis Moore I think you'll find. Doing a great job is Dennis. Oh hang on ...

He identified the problems and brought in the right personel to do the job this season,which we are doing just......He still makes mistakes though and got it totally wrong v Wakey.........he has got us to where we should be but can he take us further.......i dont think he can.

I would agree with that. He's got us to where we should be and so doesn't deserve the constant "Agar out" cry. This squad isn't good enough for any higher than 4th IMO. The board have decided to let him try and take us on to the next level and there's not a lot we can do about it.

No, but the squad is good enough for 4th and I doubt there are many on here who believe we will finish the season there. If we go out of teh play offs in the 1st round then the season will be below expectations IMO

Where? Tell me what this platform is made up from. How will it , whoever it is made up from , launch us out of mediocrity and see us challenging genuinely for silverware and playing football that we can look forward to? Today wouldn't be the problem if it weren't for the fact that there just isn't any sign of that platform you allude to.

The platform was built from the fact we got rid of a lot of deadwood last year....we signed Fitz, O'Meley...who are great players, as is Manu and some potential future stars in Tansey, Turner, Moa, Lyne...
However the most telling factor that we are building a platform is our postition this season campared to the last 2!!

And the fact we're relying on crocks

Not sure he did make big mistake against Wakey, Burnett should have been on the bench and Horne shoudl have been brought on to the halves but that was about it

What's your point? Just because they are playing tomkins in another position doesn't take away the fact he is a top quality half back. Who cares how old briers is? Myler is in his early 20's. You forgot to mention that eastmond is injured

Key point for me is the points scored. There's clearly no improvement in performance in relation to that.
