He is also not untested at full back or a host of other positions. To say we have a 2nd rower playing on the wing is stretching it somewhat though


We might as well say we have a centre playing at hooker, and whilst we are at it Saints had a winger playing at prop (Sure Roby played on the wing for a spell against us in the first game)

Whiting in the future will be a back rower/ loose forward. He has the ball handling skills and a clever brain, its so obvious that he would make these positions perfect for him. He is far too slow for a centre / winger.

But to clear the record, this arguement as gone silly because my OP was to say I think Whiting is a SR. You then claim he is untested there, I tell you that he is not untested there as he has played there (regardless of how many games) then you go silly and start claiming James Roby is a winger ?
