did they???? bet there kicking themselves now, although to be fair, i wanted to go at half time, thought we was in for a drubbing!! oh how i love to be wrong lol

sometimes you get so f*cked off with the team, you get up and go in a fit of fury, i remember doing it when we got trounced by KR at the KC, i just got up and went, i regretted it as soon as i was outside, but they was nowt i could do then, had to follow it through, its nothing to do with being loyal, its a "f**k this, im off attitude" lol

I was off work yesterday and took him to Brid for a few hours and fish and chips, then train back and straight to the KC to watch that match, what a perfect day.

Thats a fantastic description of exactly what I did on that very day

Must admit i feared the worst at 26-6 but walking out at that stage was never on my mind.

At half time i thought about it, but then i thought of the KR game, and thought my lift doesnt come till full time, after that KR match i was stood outside for 30 mins, what a t!t i felt!! especially as i said to my dad, "come on were off" he said f*ck off im going nowhere, couldnt sit back down then, had to carry on! the loyalty of parents (and kids, even they didnt follow me) so im there till the bitter end now lol

perfect!!! finished off with a beer or two

I also thought we were going to get mullered a la HKR but so pleased that we hung on in there. I think it ran the bradford playoff when we got to OT close for atmosphere!

I said at half-time I would take a 38-16 loss right now as i thought we were about to get mullered beyond belief and that scoreline was about the best we could hope for.

I am so faithless at times.

Quality!at least you admit it lol.my family all go together to every home game and my brother-in-law did the same thing!and ...like you...he too had to wait outside for us all to finish the game and get of the ground!! principles eh?

Can laugh about it now, but standing outside like a nutter, muttering to meself, i wasnt a happy chappy i can tell you, really thought they would all follow me, but for them all to look at me like i was a lepor?? and when the lift came and my dad said "enjoy your one man protest?" i could have chinned him lol

When Washy had just knocked on after we had scored to make it 26 12, I felt we had lost a little momentum, my bro in law said 'another try and we could be in with a shout here'. I said we wasn't going to come back and win. I said we had a chance of making it respectable. I was that sure I bet him £5 pound to a penny we wouldn't win.
Him, not been daft took the bet and my money at the end.
Its the best £5 I've ever lost and I said that if it cost me £5 every week for us to win I could live with that

Oh yeah, I was one number off winning the half time draw top prize as well

To be honest though I am so negative and hardly ever expect us to win. Friday was a prime example. I never expected a respectable scoreline let alone a comeback. I expected saints to run up a Rovers type scoreline, at 26-26 i said they will drop a drop goal cos we never do.................then at the end i was screaming like a little girl and telling anyone that would listen how important that win will be............on the way to us getting to the Grand final



I am ashamed of myself at times

after meeting my brother when i arrived from edinburgh,i told him we would win but it would be tight,only a couple of points.journey back to edinburgh was on cloud 9 not train as usual.

Think who ever does Hull's web site was like the above because when i looked on it after getting home had Leeds above us in the table.
So seems not alone !

what baffles me is that there was a few people leaving when its was 26-26, each to their own and all that, but just what 'vital' appointments do these people have to get to so quickly? were they due to be knighted by the Queen at 10pm or something? bizarre.

I have to admit I did a swift early exit during the Rovers debacle.
Then I felt guilty for doing it.Think if it had been anybody but Rovers I may have stuck it out.
