Big Sam was awesome and gave us tremendous go forward.

I would tie him down to a longer contract , yes he's a quota player but there a severe lack of props he is 23 and getting better all the time

the 'project' is now a top SL prop, every week he gives a consistent, hard hitting performances and his offload for the try (sorry I forget who scored, was too busy leaping up and down to care!) was fantastic

How good was it having 2 destructive props on the field together (albeit briefly)? Agree with UllFC, no longer a project, the lad's a real player.

For such a big fella he has a spot on tackling technique too. Always a ball and all tackle unless he puts on one of his huuuge shots!

I also thought Radders was used correctly and played well...and Dowes...great forward effort tonight

Let himself down trying a silly offload as we looked to get back in it before half time IMO, was never on and really unnecessary. Did well apart from that though, and worked his nuts off again.

Still as you say I thought he did really well tonight, made some decent yards and never took a backward step.

Radders really ran himself into the ground in that last 15mins, he was having at least 1-2 drives each set for us. Same for Dowesy, good to see him gettin back to how we know him.

Radford had a much better game, because as you say he was used correctly. I've never been a fan, but I can see his worth if we play him like we did tonight. Its just when we decide to let him dictate play on the 4th tackle in the oppositions 20 and he trundles the ball in one-man that frustrates me! he needs to be nowhere near the attacking side of things.

Tonight was the strongest I've seen him run for a long time.

This is exactly why I was so critical from the first game of the season that he wasn't being picked in the team.

As I have said all season , it took a while for the club and Sam to get his fitness right, now he is peaking at just the right time, we have balance , power and guile in abundance in our forwards now and all at the right end of the season and Hame / Berro/ Horne yet to come back!!
No one will want to come to the KC now!!
