this has probably been mentioned somewhere before but does anyone know how much longer Calderwood's going to be out? i can't really remember when he got injured but was supposed to be out for 6-8 weeks initially.

I spoke to him not so long ago and he said he’d be back in ‘two weeks’. That would make it this weekend
Whether that meant he was back in full time training, or back to being available for selection I’m not sure.

| i suppose he isn't the fastest winger on the planet, but having him back means Whiting can move to a better position. as good as Whiting is, he's not got enough pace. maybe using him as Calderwood's inside centre?? 
Whiting would be a much more reliable centre than Hall IMO. a player with a good rugby brain and who isn't afraid to go into a tackle full-pelt. |

i can recall Calderwood having a good partnership with Whiting in many games... and i'm starting to think that would be the best option for the rest of the season (since whiting won't be the loose-man most of us would like)
i rate Calderwood aswell, but a pay-cut would be a good idea for 2011 |
