Good hits are usually the ones that affect the receivers performance, i.e. the Morley hit on Crabtree at Wembley, when Crabtree had to leave the field straight after. I think it was Manu (who had a good game today by the way) who put a big hit on Monaghan, but he got straight back up and played the ball.

Good hits are ones that lift the team or provide an advantage. He hit him about five yards out and knocked him over his own try line, winning a drop out. That's a good hit, for me.

What fecking difference does that make? It was a good hit. Everything that happens in a RL game that might be described as 'good' doesn't have to lead to a try.

Take loads from the game mate.The players gave their all,without Horne,Fitz,Tickle, Hame,Briscoe plus Long injured halfway through the game,against a good Warrington side.This is a marked improvement on last season.
But keep getting your digs in if it makes you happy.

one thing did surprise me, given the pre match hype about the forward packs it was a pretty clean game, with no pens for foul play i think.

mind you might have been different had westwood and lauaki played
