I agree with his thoughts on the game, you guys are playing better than us at the moment and if the game is to be won on current form, then the 2 points are going West.

Maybe, but who would have said 6-42 a few years ago. Derbies are too close to call tbh. I'll just be glad of the points and sod the performance or the margin.

Yes we maybe playing well at the moment but you can forget form in the Hull Derby games, it means nothing, especially our recent history in the derby games and the way we seem to get stage fright at your ground.

Sure as a coach he never set the world on fire, However as a former Hull FC player and a good one at that he has experienced derby games so based on that I respect his opinion.

For the record, He played in all of TWO derby games! The 1991 new years defeat 20-8 which was our first game at new craven park and the good friday victory 28-16 at The Boulevard.

Hardly extensive experiance!

You can try and dress it up however you want, you are expecting to win this game and win it at a canter
