Sorry about dragging this on but I couldnt go last night but listened on the radio.
Is Sean Long long simply not fully recovered/fit or is it worse ?
It sounded on the radio that there may be a recurrence of the hamstring problem which could lead to further missed games ?

Not fit IMO. Looked to be limping early on. Agar said on the radio that he was 100% fit but I don't think that was the case.

Oh I hope he is not going to be sidelined for another month or so !!!

The annoying thing there is we have managed the win without him, SO why did we feel the need to bring him back too early we have a huge month coming up..silly tactics that.

Was he even on the field for the full game? I thought he came on, got his hair done up like a pineapple, then got on the end of a comedy try. Did next to nothing and should not have played IMO.

It sounded like he was pulling up while scoring his try. I doubt we'll see him next week.

to be fair you've beaten two of the lower teams without him and were playing probably the best team in the league at the moment last night and that is the type of game Longy normally excels in.

If he's not had any adverse reactions to his injury then it will have been worth the risk as even without him the result would likely have been the same.

It may have paid off in the sense it has not aggravated the injury more (we hope)however he was clearly not fit enough to hit his straps in the game and other options may have produced more,also we do not need to take risks this early in the campaign

if he has aggrivated his injury then i agree it wil have been foolish, radio humbs said in the post match talk he never looked fit which means playing him an odd decision. Makes you wonder who's making the calls, wouldn't have thought Agar would risk his jewel in the crown.
