I cant tell you how happy i am, the man is a coward and a thug and has been responsible for so many bad injuries to players through his career were better off without him!!

He's the reason briscoe left aswell. He injured him leaving Briscoe out the game for around 10 weeks (broken jaw i think from a high shot) hence him not being offered a 1st choice FB salary as Tony had taken over his mantle.

Not defending Newton at all but its easy for people to kick a man while he's down. For me he played tough, sometimes he overstepped the mark but its a tough sport and you need players like that around, we don't want 17 robots.

Look at the excitement having a bit of BIFF back in our team has created!!
No doubt he overstepped the mark on occassions but you don't play 15 yrs in SL without being a very talented player. If he was just a thug he'd have been found out long ago.

As for the drugs, he's been stupid, not sure what he's supposed to have taken but he's been caught.

Interesting Cullen on the TV mentioning HGH, not sure if its this Newton has been on but I know the 'rumours' of players taking HGH has been around for at least 7/8 yrs!!

Its rife in SL and the NRL.

There's a difference between 'a bit of biff' and cowardly cheap shots. Newton falls very much into the latter category. And there's a whole spectrum between a 'robot' and a thug like Newton.
