I thought he had a very quiet game last night but the team still managed to win against a well organised and defensive team

Felt it goes some way in showing that we are not a one man team as some others have tried to state. The team seem united and working for each other, when the weather dries and we get some grass on the KC we can only improve.

One thing thats really impressed and surprised me about Longy is how good his defence is. It was great again last night.

Couple of decent breaks too, thought he was meant to have lost his pace?

He put a kick in and led the chase then put 4 tackles in on the trot

we noticed that great game again by longy hope he keeps fit

Always looking to create something even on the half time whistle from a pen deep in our half we nearly scored.He's got an excetional rugby brain.

it wasnt longys best game but huddersfield are a very good denfensive side the best last year so was always going to be hard to brake them down. but still showed his quality and experience now and then with a couple of good breaks.

thought his defence was very good almost in at nearly every tackle and his vision(rugby not his eyes)is second to none,i have to admit i didnt like him very much when he was at saints he had a cockyness about him,but to watch him guide the team around the field like he does and talking to the players behind the sticks when the oppo manage a try is great to see and is what hull fc have needed for a long time.

I thought he had a great game - organising us, pushing us round the field, calling the plays. Priceless.

He was in mt top 3 players for the night. He made a couple of good breaks, put in some superb tackles and organised the side really well.

The penalty/DG was typical sh cheek.

longys defence is generally good like he showed last night and alot better then a certain number 7 for hull last year

I thought he had a good game, if he was just a tiny bit quicker he would have bagged a couple of trys.

His presence, organisation and mouth have been key and also looks to be catching watching Horne sort out the right hand side last night in a similar manner.

I agree with the previous posters, very impressive in defence and was a great leader again. Bit quiet in attack apart from a few good scampering runs. Good kicking game again on Friday night.
