Same here refuse to drink the beer especially at half time I cant understand the people who pay top price, wait most of half time queing to buy the drinks then try to down them in 2 mins usually leaving most of it.

I resent it but cant not buy Chicken Balti Pie

ha ha we had a plan, we brought our own in some keepwarm wraps , cracking buy from blacks!! £7.99 keep anything hot for hours!!
so enjoyed a huge Wrights chicken and mushroom one thank you

For every person that said yes, another said no. I can't see it ever changing tbh.

Surely if you can now get bottles of magners then they could get them plastic bottles of carling,carlsberg or fosters and do the same offer.

Im a guinness man myself so wish they would do guinness on draft or bottles

Love Guinness but would probably cost about £10 a pint at the K.C,and it would take 10 minutes to pull a pint.

Did anybody noticed that they only had pies on sale, no burgers or hotdogs cos they apparently ran out of buns. Nothing to do with them having loads of pies left over from the cancelled city game.

Yeah thats true ive never liked that guinness origional you can get in a bottle.

why dont they pre sell beer and food and have it ready to hand over at half time with a ticket. you cant get anywhere near the bar at half time.

Why dont they sell cans or bottles...would be quicker to hand over...or you can fill a flask with the amber nectar and sneak it in

TBH i prefer to go to a decent pub before and perhaps after the game and pass on the alleged refreshment at the stadium - its only a couple of hours without a pint

sneak a few tinnies in, thats what i always do!

But to be fair it is only a couple of hours without a drink.
Its 1 of the many things that the rovers fans obsess about with hull is you can't drink inside the stadium, were the only team in super league were you cant drink on the terraces they say... but at the mighty craven park in the beloved east stand you drink while watching the game, my question to them was "what happens when rovers score?", there reply was beer went all over, enough said...

The reason you cannot take alcohol on to the terraces is quite simple. When the stadium was opened Hull City football Club applied for a liquor "on licence". The magistrate who granted the licence stipulated that one of the conditions was that beer and spirits could not be taken off the concourse or out of the private boxes. At the same sessions Hull Rugby Football Club applied for a licence and according to the magistrate "in the interests of fairness" the same conditions should apply.

I Believe the original ruling was it could not be drank in view of the pitch, hence the exec boxes had to keep curtains closed and thats why they have them sight screens at end of each aisle on the concourse

Actually to be picky if you've ever neen to the Guinness brewery in Dublin they tell you that the " black stuff " is actually ruby red and this can be seen by looking at a full glass from the bottom. Immaterial I know but red and white at the KC !!
