That's some achievement considering the two years we have had and the current economic climate.

Brilliant response with only a few left in East and South Stands. The next two weeks are traditionally busy fo junior unreseved pass sales, so we could be getting close to the 9000 by the Huddersfield game. It will also be rewarding if we could pass Rovers average gate for last season in season ticket sales alone this week, without extending our stands

Absolutely phenomonal IMO, still got to get the kids passes aswell so 9000 is definitely on the cards!

I just quote from the club press release embargoes to 6-00am this morning which states




"Officially recognised as the 18th man this year, fans have already snapped up nearly all the seats in the South Stand, so anyone who normally sits here on match day is urged to get in quick and buy a season pass to avoid any disappointment.

The East Stand is also proving just as popular, as it does every year, so again fans are encouraged to move quick to avoid missing out on their seat".

maybe a call to go reserved for south stand for 2011 then ??

Yeh we were talkin about that the other day perhaps they should do that with the middle blocks at least. good position to be in though!

Could be a good ploy if we have a good year, to go fully reserved south and east , ensuring people snap up passes fairly sharpish to get the seats they want

Wouldn't be happy with all Reserved due to working away we share a pass between two people then buy up an extra ticket as and when required. If we went full reserved woudl probably not be able to sit together. However it is good news for the club that so many passes are sold already. Got my kids passes already so no new passes to go to the Boys from Brasil

No, we sold over 10,000 shirts last year (and the previous four years, IIRC).

Still whatever you say it has to be a great tribute to the FC fans particularly after the last two seasons. Since the announcement which quoted sales up to last Friday the number sold this week will no doubt at least take the total up to around 8,600 . There is always a swell in sales towards the end of the junior discount period and before the first game, so a total of 9000 is certainly not out of the question which would be pretty amazing really.

The two signifcant figures for me to compare our season ticket sales with are these, Average Super League attendance in 2009; 8,570.
Average Gate at Caravan Park in 2009: 8527
