Quote ="downtheante"In the last couple of pre-seasons, with a very average playing roster, many people thought we had a realistic chance of finishing top-four but a cruel list of injuries, contractual and visa issues and poor half-back pairing did for us. Whether Agar proves to be a good coach or not, I am much more optimisitic about the coming season than I had any right to be over the past couple of years. With or without him, I expect top-four: anything less would tell me that the quality of players we have in the team is still average - I don't believe that.'"
in hindsight we did have a very average squad , as the team of the challenge cup and grand final should of been dispanded 2 years ago ,and re built, easier said than done i know . but looking accross our back line compared to other teams i dont see we have a lot to fear and as for our forwards i honestly believe warrington aside we will out muscle every other team which we have failed to do in previous 2 seasons . optomistic..or realistic ...time will tell but the fans so deserve a good year after our loyalty............come on you hull
