Hemmings is a pr1ck regardless of the teams he's trying to commentate on.To much negativity.

To be fair, Eddie Hemmings stood his ground on the Inglis try when all around him were saying it was a try - from the angle behind it was clear that he bounced it. But I agree, Eddie and Stevo (esp. Stevo) haven't moved with the times and need to be replaced by new blood. Can't think of anyone except Baz & Tez.

My lad plays for Shaw Cross, the club that produced Stevo, where he is still highly regarded.

He just can't relate my accounts of one of the worlds best players to the "old man who never shuts up".

Time for him to move on I reckon. Either McDermott or O'Connor could fill that role, and bring a more up to date knowledge of the game.

I'd keep Eddie tbh as he would be better with a more modern sidekick.

That'd be ace,we'd get to know every players height,weight and hair colour.

They are poor really although at least Eddie showed real passion on the subject of hating this constant repetition of Aussie wins. But Stevo is just a d*ck, they need some new blood in there I think even if they have to poach someone from Aus.

As for the game it strikes me that we are now matching them in the forwards, well behind them in the backs, and light years away from their standard in play making and kicking!

FWIW I thought Tomkins was out of his depth last night. Sinfield was shocking (looked even worse live than he did on the TV).

Agree about our halves..although they can and wil be exciting players in the future they could not control a side around the park...Sinfield is and always will be the most over rated player in the SL...although he did a few good things during the series...Bridge is a one man penalty machine.
