Radders cops a fair bit of flack, but you can never qestion his effort and committment and agar hasn't done him any favours playing him at 13

Totally agree. Don't think people like Radford & Thorman have been done any favours by Agar.
Radford does a lot of unseen work, & he's certainly not a 13.

He is the way Agar plays it, like a third front rower

I would imagine Radders will want to see out his contact , as he must be able to carry out his RL/RU duties in tandem for next season.

Not the right choice of captain and played out of position but as you say he plays to the best of his ability and is actually one of our more consistent players.

Agree about Radford but I'm afraid Thorman has not performed anywhere near the required standard and I think he has a basic responsibility to do that himself. The main error was recruiting him in the first place.

I do agree with you. Just feel he's been left hung out to dry. Especially after Agar's comments after the Giants game, about not performing against his former club.

I rate Radford, but he like most our forwards plays way to much. However, Tickle easily gets the award for over used. He misses lots of tackles and sometimes struggles to back play up, oh wait the whole pack do. I see a common occurance here.

Nice to see someone come out and be honest rather then "we can still male the play-offs", "training is going really well" and all the other turd that usually comes out.

We are amateur its as simple as that. We have an amateur set-up with an amateur coach and a squad with an attitude to suit.

I know Radford is one people see as a drinker but whenever I have spoken to him after a game he is genuinely dissapointed if we get beat, where as others in the squad think, oh well, i still got paid.

More talk of Agar being right to make big changes for next season. If I knew where to look I'd find out what the worst string of results was for a SL coach that DIDN'T result in the being relieved of their duties at a club not recently promoted. When we've lost 19 out of 23 as will no doubt be the case after the Bradford game, with just 3 senior players coming in and players like Tony and, inexplicably, Calderwood, potentially going out, where do the board see this sudden reversal of fortune being conjured up from? I personally think we need a more expensive overseas training camp as that worked wonders - £30k we'll never see again.
