That's where you're going wrong .... you only need to go 13 times a year
Seriously though these things are perks of being a passholder, try using the stamp scheme this year and spread the cost becoming a pass holder for next year. Or if you want to give the club £60 for the same stuff.

Didn't take long for someone to have a moan.
Pass holders get benefits, that is part of the appeal in getting one.
I'm looking forward to the BBQ - hopefully the weather will be better than last year's!

| Quote ="Fc Til I Die 316"I hear your point but if i did do the stamps thing it would take me a season to get it paid for as well as paying each match. if i missed every match i could do the stamp thing but money is tight now so i cant do both. i am struggling financially so wont be buying much from the shop next year if anything. Just a bit gutted thats all. Its like they like you more the more money you put in, which is fine, but all they hear about is how many season passes are sold. they dont hear about people like me who arranged a coach for wembley last year to get loads of people, who would not have gone otherwise, to go. that increased merchandise etc so even tho i put in as much as i can afford i still promote fc at work and make them money...ah well. i know what they will say anyway. "Hull Fc appreciate your views...thankyou for contacting Hull FC" end of
'"
I understand your problem but the BBQ is for passholders as a reward for being loyal for buying a pass i suggest instead of buy FC merchandise put the money to the stamps so that the 2011 season pass you might only need to find £50-60 .
Look at it the other way what if they allowed eveybody to the BBQ and we didn't get any 1st dibbs on tickets for C/C games etc they'd be no point in buying a pass.
If your that desprate to go borrow one off a friend i'm sure they'll be plenty of people not going!!

lol... i understand you point fella. i said earlier i wont be buying anything next year and i will invest in the stamp scheme. this means i will not be going to at least half the games but it will be worth it in 2011.

something would be good!!! 2 or 3 signing sessions a year during working hours is end of...unless yoyu dont work then its fine. i work mon - fri 8 - 5 so what have they ever done outside of these times apart from 1 signing session which i got to this year??
your obviously a season pass holder so your ok. what about the thousands of average joe's who work etc.
They could do more and you cant argue with that.

You're right I am a passholder, the reason I am is that it's more cost effective to be one plus the first option on cup tickets. Other than that I don't really expect anything else from the club, they owe me nothing in that respect, I pay them my cash in order to go and watch the team play rugby league. The BBQ is a nice gesture but I'm not really interested.

yeah we pay to watch them and if thats good enough for you then thats fine. I personally think they could do more for everyone. Like do a fans day in the city centre near the big screen where you can meet the players chat with them and other fans, do competitions and far far far more for the kids like training days with the players or school trips around the stadium and facilities so they can see how they train etc

It was mentioned a while (8-9 months I think) back when the scheme was relaunched, and unsuprisingly people bitched and complained about it.

| Interesting, the way this thread has gone. I have sympathy for the guy who can;t 'finance' a pass, but weekly shows as much committment as any FC Fan. The issue is simply financing - cash flow. He pays for his rugby weekly, and to pay a year in advance, requires either a lump sum ONE OFF, and then weekly saving or some plan.
He riases a good point - what does the club do for the average plan. In my opinion, what the club SHOULD do is help the 'Average Fan' achieve Season pass Status. Saving Stamps are an attempt, but the club could help with that "One Year In Advance" situation which people short of 'disposable cash' will struggle with. I would like the club offer this. When the season ends, any FC Fan who commits to a season pass for the next TWO YEARS can start a 1 year saving account with Hull FC that runs from September 09 to December 10. (15 monthly payments). Based on say £230 a pass, the aim would be to put in £30 a month for 15 months (£450) and that would fund next years pass, and the 2011 years pass by December next year, allowing everyone to then be a year in front as a season pass holder.
If I can think of this, sat eating my sandwiches and reading the message board, why can't Huff FC Marketting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
