There's 13 for starters. Obviously Raynor's been out most of the season with his career-threatening toe injury and Horne back after last season's neck injury/diabetes nightmare.

I get that injuries are part and parcel of the game but do you really get that unlucky for 2 years solid or are other factors at play here?

Didnt we get rid of a "conditioner" last season.

I tend to think it's down to (very) bad luck, although undoubtedly recruitment of players with questionable injury records has been a factor.

Was that from heaving 8 men out of the way to get to Cooke during the melee?

and what about next years signings, oh yes that's rights they're all injured too

bad recruitment which seems to be followed by bad luck...byne=waste of quota bad knee injury, tony=no briscoe, bad injury.....the list is endless

O'Meley and Fitzgibbon have good appearance records as far as I'm aware, Long's jaw break could happen to any player.

Hasn't been the same since Mallinson was exiled. Rovers have had horrendous injuries since... oh hang on.

just what i thought,maybe if every decent player wasnt injured all the time then maybe we wouldnt be in the were in,if your injured most of the time then surely you dont feel like getting 7 shades knocked out of you every week and that could be why some/most of the players arent performing.....im not looking for other excuses just trying to see the bigger picture and not blaming agar all the time like most seem to do as its all too easy to just put it on the coach`s head.

I don't see it as bad luck or bad conditioning.

Imagine the mess if a Karate expert tried to headbutt a breezeblock in half with a "can't be d" attitude.

Imagine going into the ring with Ricky Hatton after being trained by a poor coach.

Imagine doing a parachute jump without the motivation to pull the release cord.

Injuries are inevitable.

Injuries...injuries...injruies...visas....visas....visas !!!

FFS !!! Our squad was NEVER going to be good enough this season. We have a host of players who are either way past their best, injury prone or just simply not fit for purpose.

Add that to the guy in charge who couldn't motivate a group of flies onto a lump of dog$hite and, hey presto, we finish third from bottom in SL which would actually be bottom if not for the two new incumbents.

I never resort to personal insults, but you are clearly out of your depth, son. Have you completely missed the point? We have had the worst injury list of any SL club over the period of the last 2 years. That may be an inconvenient truth for some, including you by the looks of things. What I am suggesting here is that possibly this is not just down to bad luck and may be self-engineered as no other club has suffered to the same extent as us. If you care to read my other posts you will see that I am no fan of Agar as I do not believe he is a coach of the quality we deserve. Sorry if the question was not one-dimensional enough for you. There is another thread which asks for a one-word answer about whether we keep Agar or not, perhaps you might feel more comfortable there.
