| If we still had relegation the board would not have let the club slip into such a poor state and risk losing the income SL/Sky brings .
Now guaranteed cash and a guaranteed licence renewal has left our board cash rich and uninterested in the on field results.
They said this new system was the future but im afraid its gonna be the death of our club !!!

| Yourselves, Bradford and Wakefield are all suffering at the minute.
Wakefield have a decent enough coach and are active in trying to sort their financial stuff out by offloading players and ensuring they are clean for the next round of franchises.
Bradford and Hull are in real trouble in the table but surely have enough off field to just keep getting franchises providing they dont finish bottom 2 and there fore the boards will be happy trotting along making money.

Calm down and think through the logic. A large part of the club's income is based on things that will disappear if we spend time at the wrong end of the table, and the board know it. I seriously doubt they'll risk the supply of ready cash drying up.

| I said at least a month ago we would finish 13th as we were the first team to play as if they know they can't be relegated.

| What urks me is the fact that we have enough out on the pitch to at least compete even with the injuries but again today we were totally out coached and out enthused by Cas.
For me we need a massive clear out in coaching staff, medical staff and a 3 or 4 players.
Next season will be no different to this or last season until we have some major changes.

| Was thinking the same thing when reflecting yesterday. If franchising hadnt come in, we would have been in a relegation battle last year and the same again this year. Both us and Bradford would have sacked their coaches weeks ago if it was still 12 teams and relegation

Is it really in the boards interest to let the club slip into a continuous poor state and kill the club?

You should be exempt from the franchise system and be relegated

| And the game, it is crap at the moment!
Really feel for the likes of Widnes, Leigh etc.
Get rid of London & Celtic
Bring back promotion and relegation, 2 down, two up.
Maybe give newly promoted 1 years grace to give them a chance.

So if us and Salford finish 11th and 12th then send Celtic and London down too?

| For those of us that have been following Hull for a few years the current state of play is enough to give us nightmares! I think it is reasonable after two Challenge Cup Finals and one Grand Final appearance in the last four years for fans to expect the club to finally take that next step to sit alongside Saints and Leeds as genuine contenders for silverware.
Instead memories of those dark days in the early nineties when the club dismantled a Premiership winning side for a quick buck and slipped into mediocraty come flooding back with a vengence.
It's a very long time since I can recall such consistently poor performances from my team and when I do I also recall the side having a lot less quality than it does now.
I think the question of blame has to be carried by the club as a whole for each element has its own failings.
The Board are too business orientated and whilst this is neccessary to a high degree our Chairwoman is completely detached from the club and shows little interest in it from a public point of view.
The coaching setup is just not up to the job. I'm fed up of hearing 'judge him with his own team'. Why? They didn't give Kear or Sharpe that consideration.
The players (with just a few exceptions) just seem to have forgotten which side their bread is buttered on! Not enough pride, passion or aggression in their performances for too many years now. Skill is another thing. You can only coach so much of that and the rest is natural ability. I think most people are very aware of the social culture at the club which Shaun McCrae once described as 'A cancer in the club'. Clearly surgery was the only option but no one wanted to pick up the scalpel!
With so many issues on the playing side of things I have serious worries about the future of the club I love. How long at this rate before that A licence becomes a B!?
Being a successful business is one thing but when that business's backbone is a competative sport and entertainment product it needs to deliver for continued success. You can all judge for yourselves if this is the case or not right now!
Rant over!
