A professional player should not care what the crowd do or how they react end of story.

All players state that the crowd noise gets them through a game, well imagine if the loudest noise of the night is for another team winning whilst your under the cosh!!
If the fans priorities are not the team in front of them then that may affect the players to some degree.

Anybody who has played rugby will tell you they do not even hear the crowd for 90% of the game. If you are truly committed you put everything into the game, if you have time toi listen to the crowd you are not putting enough in.

So when a winning teams players state that the crowd help them its a load of maure is it?

Once again coincedences are at a premium here as several players (Newton Per Say) get asked from the East Stand for a Cheeky Wave and low and behold his arm shoots out and his hand moves in a waving fashion, must be physcic that kid, Well he cant hear us can he?

Personally speaking YES, come on think about do you really think people cheering you on gives you an advantage of any sort? I have played in a few high profile games and i have never heard the crowd because when i am playing my whole concentration is on the job my coach has told me to do.

As high profile as CC finals and GF's?
I would rather take the word of players who have played in massive high profile games at the top end of the sport rather than some 'bloke on a chat forum'.
I you want to belive you know more than the players who actually play in these games go for it.
I on the otherhand will tend to listen to those players over you.

Players always say the crowd was the extra man and all that but at the end of the day the crowd makes very little difference to how the team plays.
