How do people think he's shaping up then from the step up to SL?

Granted he's only played a hand full of games, I've been quite impressed.

Depending how they both carry on playing and if Moa gets more opportunities. Do you think they both have a chance of staying next season or do you think we will only keep hold of one?

If so who would you choose?

hard to say because to be fair to Moa we haven't seen him play whilst 'fit' yet

Two totally different type of props.

Maloney plays more like Dowes and Moa more like Feka

From what i've seen from Dom he is a brilliant prospect, so would prefer if we kept him

Hopefully we will get to keep both, with cusack going we could maybe get them both on his wage. Been impressed with maloney, runs the ball in hard and looks solid in defence. Considering this is his first year as pro I think there's a lot to work with.

Moa also has a lot of potential and looks like he could be the impact prop we need think these 2 could be a good partnership on the interchange side of things.

I would offer them both one year extensions this minute. I can't imagine either on very much $$$

Been very impressed with Maloney so far.He's a strong runner and has put in some big hits in,in the games he's played.

With Cusack more than likely going home at the end of the season and king being injured more than not these days i think we will keep both him and Moa.

i see dom as a future replacement for the yak, great prospect, great talent.

at the moment moa and maloney are on the same wage put together of that what scott wheeldon was asking for. so i reckon we could probably get them both on cusacks wage

Maloney has impressed me the games he has played in, was the best player on the park for us at Knowsley road, was really getting stuck into the game both in attack and defence.

I would like to see him stay.

cant see moa cutting the mustard before the end of the season, hes sure to be gone, its like watchin another hutch maiava!! Dowes has a mortgage on one spot, with king, maloney, thacks and one other whos fit and can break a tackle we will be right with them.

I think that's harsh, he doesn't knock on or give ridiculous passes (remember THAT derby game with Maivia's offload to Rovers

) and he's had far less experience that Hutch and will be on a lot smaller salary.

Maybe slightly harsh comparing him to hutch but its hard to make mistakes when your only on the field 5 minutes at a time and 10 yards behind play with a busted lung!! His salary demands could be his one saving grace, then again knowing hull we will release him and he will be a world beater elsewhere.

I've been impressed with Dom first game i saw him in was Wakey at home and thought he looked a bit too keen a couple of times he seemd to want to push people out the way to get hold of the ball and then get involved in every tackle but looked strong

Not the biggest prop but seems to play above his weight done well so far.

I'm quite happy with what I've seen so far, however like the rest of the team, there's room for improvement.

Glad the kid has finally got some gametime under his belt. Looks useful but is very rough round the edges, he get square on quite a lot and his PTB needs plenty of work. [sarcasm mode[i:368jrvf5A good coach will improve him though[/i and i'd much rather have him as a project than Fat Sam.

Seems to have had a fair bit of praise on here so he's guaranteed to be next seasons scapegoat when things go pear shaped

Sam Moa has more potential than Maloney imo and I hope they both improve their games sufficiently to ensure they get new contracts with the club.

Don't agree.

Maloney has better all round game and will play more minutes. Sam is an out and out impact player. Long term Maloney is the better option.

We need balance so they could both be here long term and age is both on their sides. It depends on who the other props are too, no point in having 4 props who all play minutes and no impact.
