I've never been a fan TBH. He's had some good games for us, but overall has not been worth a spot and definitely not worth the captaincy.

as a squad player he would do a job for somebody, but thats all he is at this stage of his career...a backup/squad player. Yet at HullFC he's treated like a star player!

I think DDD summed it up very nicely when he said the pack is full of players who are too similar. If we just had Radford he'd be a good player but we don't, we have Dowes, Tickle, Burnett, Maloney, Yak who very similar.

That is something Calderwood has done all through his career, yet the rest of our players are too dumb to realise it!

Me and my Dad said about this. He must have done about 4 or 5 times already for us this season without anyone making anything from it.

But obviously it's his fault.

i suppose usually Tickle only does the short kick off when theres 1 minute to go, so they aren't used to it

It's always funny when that one gets rolled out (not that I think you're suggesting it seriously).

He expends most of his energy turning his back to the tacklers, sitting on them for a while, then slowing rolling over to get as slow a PTB as you're ever likely to see. I've genuinely seen players with broken legs/ankles get to their feet to play it quicker than Radford does.

Radford shown up tonight by Thacks, Burnett and Maloney - all ran the ball in harder and quicker.

i was liking the bit where radders was bemused and spinning round like an idiot when drew simply changed direction!!!!.....never ever been a captain...
