Nope - played for the Bunnies down under I think. Another one who retired from Hull and made a miraculous recovery once at home. He even came back and played for the Pies here

Watched him play in the NRL last week for Canberra against Cronulla and he looked good so a state of origin call up maybe, also Trent Barrett looked class

You can't have met many people then.

Always found him to be a decent bloke, certainly less arrogant than at least 3 members of the curret squad.

Campese was miles better than Barrett.

Met him on a few occasions,sponsership do's,official dinners etc.I found him extremely hard to talk to,he gave me the impression he was'nt keen on being there,at the function or at the club.He ate the meal and could not get out quick enough. The editors of IAKOW,Steve or Vince may tell a similar story as well


Having said that he was employed as a prop and he was a good un,better than what we have at present,before his injury.

he was a very poor example of how a player should treat a fan,he grunted in reply to any questions and didnt have any people skills whatsoever,i understand it must get a bit tiresome for the players but it goes with the job,they dont mind the adulation when it suits them,too many of the players seem far to distant from the fans now,they seem to have lost touch with the public,not all of them but some are total jerks and must say on the couple of occasions i met scott he fell into that catergory

Some people just aren't comfortable with public speaking,doesn't mean they are rude.
Tim Street was a perfect example.I'm sure he would rather have not won the man of the match award which I saw.

Did come accross as a bit arrogant but part of that was him maybe being uncomfortable in front of the fans. He was excellent for us and he has done well in the NRL since he went back.

Class player, was arguably the best prop in the comp during the season he got that horrendous injury that night against wigan. Has looked top notch when I've seen him recently in the NRL. I said last season, I'd love to re-sign him, just what we are missing. Cussack is probably a better media guy though so that's alright isn't it?

Not met any recent Hull players, but remember guys like Steve McNamara and Richard Gay been absolutely spot-on with fans e.g. at RL presentation do's back when I was playing.

Perhaps you wound him up with your spelling.

Decent bloke IMO, met his a few times, always had time to talk to the fans about the game.
