I say this having sat high up in the West Stand yet could see nothing wrong, so why Ganson from 10 yards away couldn't spot these were clear tries is beyond me.

Whiting try was suspicious to me in the west stand, he looked a tad offside.

Yes. Makes a change from people critisizing him, but today I think he had a decent game. Did get abit over keen with the video ref, but a part from that nothing else to grumble about. Well done Mr Ganson.

Thought Ganson was consistent for both sides.

You cannot blame him for going to have a look at Berrigans try.

Thing about Ganson is is has 2 styles of refereeing and you never know which one you are going to see.

Yesterday was his "let the game flow" style, which is the better of the 2, and similar to how he reffed Cardiff '05.

His other darker side is the pedantic fussy interfering whistle-happy little turd, like we had at Odsal in the cup last year.

You just don't know which version is going to turn up !

Overall I think he had a fair game, which is all you can ask for. I have no problem at all in going to video ref - it never hurts to check a decision IMO.

I agree. My only gripe was it was a very skinny 10 at time, but overall one of his better games.

as for using the video? i'd rather he went to it every time if it means getting the right decision 99% of the time

Dobson never had both feet behind the line when he tackled Manu late on and forced the error.

Also Fox's try in the second half came after we had made a break. 3 or 4 Rovers players never made any effort to get back onside and then put Hall under pressure forcing the knock on.

Now i am not blaming these incidents for the reason we lost because quite frankly we didn't deserve to win.

And I am sure Rovers can point to times we were offside that weren't given.

But at times Ganson just seems to totally ignore offside.

i agree with this,
but for me its the length of time it takes, and why do we have to watch the replays over and over? some decisions are a simple yes or no, yet we end up watching it another 5 times to be sure

I'd rather he got the right decision and take another two minutes if that's the case, thanks.
