Certainly the first 2, both on the bench. Houghton maybe but I think it may be Lee as he can cover the back row as well.

I think he does a good job coming on and gives us some urgency in defence. If Radders plays at LF I think Lee can do a good job replacing him as Washy doesn't look quite ready yet.

Lee did have a good game against them at the KC last season. We need some passion on Friday and that's gonna come from the Hull born players don't you think?

Unless Berrigan is pulling up trees in training I think it is important we play Houghton. We need some direction from the play of the ball and if Berrigan goes missing again we could be in for a long afternoon.

Thacks has to come in for Moa surely. I have been impressed with him but in the phisicality of the derby we need more game time from the forwards.

Whiting should come in for some much needed creativity.

I think those are the only real changes we can make at the minute until we get some more players back.

At the minute I think we are more in need of urgency in attack, which is why I would prefer Houghton for this one.

Why wouldn't he after him playing him there for every other game this season? I agree its not the right option but I cant see it changing at the moment.

Cos he is not a 13 and it typifies our dull rugby playing him there. Washy is fit now which also is a reason not to play him there.

Agreed it will probably happen but shouldnt. Cant understand why we are doing this, Washy and Whiting need to be commanding this role, Radders should either be in 2nd row or Prop.

As much as I like Houghton I dont think we ever see any "end product" from him. When he makes a skoot he never actually makes a clean break and even when he does he never looks for the offload (TBF we never back breaks up) and his passing is shocking at times. Lee is a far better passer of the ball and gives us more control IMO. If Berrigan is playing well I'd rather not waste a bench spot on a hooker just so he can have a 10 minute breather. Lee can cover 2 positions and that leaves 3 other bench spots for impact players.

I'd rather play Whiting off the bench and bring him on at 6 and let Horne move to dummy half for a spell. Houghton has looked poor this season.

I totally agree but I cant see it changing in the near future and will be even less likely to change if Crocker ever gets here. Also Washy didn't look ready to me on Sunday.

Washy did look off the pace but will be better for a game. He has to start at 13. No more Radders there.

100% Agree that Lee is a better ball player and more reliable but Houghton does breathe a sense of urgency into the play. Regardless of end product he lifts the play and helps get the team moving forward.

As you say if Berrigan is playing well its a no brainer but after the past three games I don't think toying with the idea of having Danny on the bench is a bad idea. Its no coincidence that when Berro plays well we play well and vice versa.

I'm not a big fan of moving players about during a game TBH but I can see where you are coming from.

We would probably move Berro anyway unless we actually took him off, works with Burrow at Leeds.

I would drop Tickle before I dropped Radford.

Who Vella , no chance
