Just wondering how Chris Thorman is playing for you guys and how you rate him? has he add anything to your team this year?

he's a player i rate quite high, but i think that his class kick are few and far between.

Started well, struggled of late. Was pretty awful in both defence and attack against Salford.

Nows not the best time what we think of you Chris

..has had some good games but really believe that he is getting put under pressure in the lasy 3 due to lack of 'go forward...'
Good player with the right team/forwards but never a fullback

crap for me hasnt shown alot from what ive seen

like a lot of half backs he's at his best when out forwards win their battle and give him a platform, something that hasnt happened in the last 2 or 3 games.
blaming thorman is an easy option we have to look at out forwards too

IMO opinion he has been poor,tactical kicking is the worst i have ever seen in a long time.Defensively weak too,teams target him every week

Forwards didn't make him make stupid decisions though., That said, I've forgiven em all after Rl factor. Clean slate now for me.
Starting again from Friday

Started off great but hasnt performanced very well last few weeks ( although thats mainly due to the fact the rest of the side and the forwards arent getting on top )

Too early to give a full judgement, his kicking was atrocious on Sunday, and i don;t know why they bother to kick for touch at a penalty because he can't go more than 10 metres.
Think he will fare better if whiting is in the side as he can take some of the kicking away from him to concentrate more on the game in the middle.

Other than 1 half decent performance at bradford he's been awful. Kicking poor on the whole and his decision making is reminiscent of a 19 year old tommy lee. Thank fook he's only signed for 1 year, although I expect the club to announce an extension soon

Has created/been involved in the majority of our tries this season as you might expect as a half back. Short kicking better than long but recently lacking confidence - takes the kick option too often where the pass would be better. Being targeted in defence a bit but no worse than R Horne in that facet. Would be OK behind a stronger more dominant pack but probably not a long term solution.

Sums up my opinion as well. Particularly the bit in bold.

Can be brilliant and can be awful, if he can get somewhere inbetween on a regular basis then he will go okay. Still can't see him being here next season though and his overuse of kicks can be very annoying.
