Would you leave things as they are or would you bring Kingy back into the mix ?

I for one think things should be left alone !

If it ain't (quite) broke, don't fix it.

The four props we have are doing OK plus will have had an extra day's rest this week.

He certainly showed a great deal of determination and endeavour in the under 21's on Saturday, and more significantly got in two big 20 minute spells! He also showed what a great ball handler he can be when given a free role.

A couple of years back I don't think we would have seen that from Kingy in the reserves he was above all that , but he certainly looked dedicated and fired up on Saturday! Perhaps we should stick, but last Friday for me showed that a player that can only play one 15 minute spot can be a bit of a luxury.

Think Kingy should get the bench spot in place of Moa, and possibly Washbrook for Lee.
Moa isn't that effective at the moment in attack or defence and think Kingy can give 2 x 15/20 min stints if only to remind us that he is still here and up for it.
Although Tommy hasn't done too much wrong, I think Washy should get the nod to mix things up a bit more as he has more of an eye for a gap.

Agree as I think Kingy offers more than Moa at the moment until he gets to full fitness etc and also think Washy offers more in the way of options than Lee. That said though neither Moa or Lee have done much wrong except that Moa only being used sparingly at the moment is a bit of luxury.

For me it would be the same 17 with the exception of King for Moa and Washy for Lee on the bench.

have to agree, think we need a bit more game time off the forwards from the bench, i think that dowes and cusack looked a bit jaded on friday night towards the end, probably a result of all the game time of late. Maybe give moa a stint in the reserves until he can be used for more than 10 minutes. Gives the impact we need but not playing long enough for my liking.

As for washy , think he brings more to the party then tommy so would deffo put him on the bench for the weekend

Anyone who went on Saturday would I think agree that Washy is about one game off being match fit, he was by his own addmission blowing for most of the game! Kingy was fine though!

good to see all these bodies back eh wilf, bit of a different problem for agar in the next few weeks is gonna be who to leave out

King in place of Moa without a doubt IMO.

I'd also keep Lee in ahead of Washbrook for now.

Would leave it the same this week. People were jaded because of our continual donation of possession to the opposition and subsequent defensive workload. Had we not done that and played as we have in previous games there would have been less fatigue near the end. It's good that King did well in the reserves and that he is knocking on the door of the first team. Leave the side as is for this week and look again next week.

I think Big Sam would benefit from being given more game time in the reserves and Kingy put on the bench for Saturday, Paul will give you more time on the field then Sam can at the moment.

If thats the case then yes stick with Lee, serious concern if Moa gets the spot instead of King. If King is the fitter of the two (suggestions are he is)we need to get more game time from our rotating props to be able to play to our strongest potential.

If Lauaki was already here he would be in instantly over King and Moa.

It's good to have a few players available back with the easter weekend coming up

Pretty much the way i see it TBH.

No brainer, King has to get on the bench.

Showed plenty of desire apparently in the reserves, has to come in for Moa and offer us 40 mins off the bench for me.

fully agree there ,went on sat and kingy put two very good spells in he is the one change i would make ,swapping sam to the reserves for match fitness ,other wise unchanged for this week ,i agree with wilf dont think washy or whiting are there yet so would leave those where they are for another week at least

If he's capable of 30 minutes, he should be a definite. I reckon Dowes and Cusack might appreciate it too.

Whoever is on the bench as prop, I aint fussed, as long as Agar plays them for longer than 10 minutes!!

That means you are fussed, as Moa couldn't do much more IMHO.

I predict King will start on the bench, come on knock on and then give away a couple of cheap penalties by then we'll all be back on here kicking off what the f**k did he pick king for.

Which is always a possibility, which is a crying shame.

Mind you, we haven't had the usual "this is a make or break season for me" article this year!
