I*M coming up for the FC v Saints game from the Midlands on June 5th so can any of you tell me of any good Pubs around the K,C....
I know it*s a long way off but have just booked my B&B on impulse and can*t wait...

The Elsmere Hotel Holderness Rd is Mick Wilsons of 'Crown' and is 1st class accommodation and you are lucky to get in there due to it's popularity (Dutchess of York) stayed there in her recenct TV programme, you are at the wrong end of town (east Hull).
There are still a few RL fans get in the Crown before games (mainly HKR), but you really do need to head West, Old Zoological, Brickies, Parkers, Charleston Club all within the KC area.

Excellent location. Right near Princes Avenue with it's wealth of Cafe bars and pubs. We always make our final stop-off at Botannic pub before the final leg to the stadium. |

| The place you are staying in is about a 10 minute walk to the KC, but is virtually situated right behind the KC (if that makes sense) 
Princes ave has plenty of bar, cafes down there but is the opposite way to where you want to be going. There is george, Brickies and Parkers pub all right next to the stadium. Imo Parkers is the best place to be before and after games, although away fans might think differently.
Is Charlston still up and running? Heard something was happening to that place, but can't remember when?  |
