Because Agar has only done what should be being done with this squad of players.

Wakefield have had a great start considering the amount of injuries they have.

We never won 3 out of 5 at the start of last season with all our injuries.

I agree with the orginal poster. We are playing good expansive rugby and while not perfect, it is a marked improvement and getting a record beating start after last year is worthy of the manager of the month IMO.

I think Kear deserves it for the start Wakefield have had given their circumstances.

Credit where credits due, I feel our coaching staff deserve a pat on the back for our current form.

I know the coaches don't actually play the 80 minutes, but still a thank you for the good start isn't to much to ask for is it? Especially after picking the team up from last year.

There are 2 or 3 of these 'awards' every month from different media outlets.

I also agree with the OP. Agar should have had the award. Reading all the experts before the season started we would be struggling to be 7/8 by the end of the season. Even if that still turns out to be the case it wont alter the fact we've had our best start ever and a great first month. Not that I think the award is particularly meaningful mind.

he has done an excellent job

i would like to see another club do what he has done so far

Against Catalans and against Huddesfield at times.



Alright, we need to speed up the play the ball signicantly and there is room for improvement especially in the use of our wingers but at least we are moving the ball around far more now instead of 5 drives and a kick like last year. We've made a lot of breaks down the left and right of the field this year and were making our luck IMO. Its good to see.

Back to the orginal point, while I'm saying that I think Agar should have got the nod, I'm not suggesting that Kear did not also deserve it.
