Manly executive saying our game is second class,what do you think.We always say we are catching up but i have to say at International level we are going backwards.

He has a point !

Aussie RL is a fave of mine of Setanta.IMO Most games knock the sox of ours !

Manly chief executive is a crank who is trying to stirr things up before the WCC. Fair enough our game isn't up to NRL standard yet, but i wouldnt say second class.

That bit is a clue as to the fact we ARE second class at club and International level.

He is trying to make a case to stop the drain of top Australian Players leaving NRL ..He is trying to undermine our game ..it cannot be that bad last Week record Crowds turned out.. it was voted the best valued sport for the money to see our game .. And fans want to see these Australians who are suppose to just be hear for a early pension ..Its just sour grapes ..He has to hit out at somebody because New Zealand beat them in the World Cup ..I don't read top Australian Players Knocking our game

Second class is not the right word for it though. The guy just knows they need every advantage they can get if they are to beat Leeds.

This sounds to me as if he's trying to defuse the internal split in the Manly board which is well documented in the Aussie presss, and which he is obviously afraid will upset his own team. Ignore him, and Leeds will have all our teams cheering them on to another WC victory......grannyfan Cindy

I don't think his opinion counts for anything tbh, his opinion is no more valid than someone on here.

Purely stirring up things before the WCC.

Second class is a bit OTT but he has a point that we are way off where we would want to be.

We are not second class, the NRL is better but that is hardly breaking news is it.

Like I said earlier, he is just trying to stir things up ahead of the WCC.
