i don`t understand,how total strangers can find out how much other people are earning.i don`t for one minute think that when somebody signs a contract for X amount,they then go out and start shouting,hey everybody,i`ve just signed a contract for X amount.surely this is private and personal information.

If you believe this forum, we must be about £500k over the salary cap with all the big earners we have.
As is the case with most rumours, occasionally one of them will actually sign. |

I was on a lads weekend away a couple of years ago and a current SL player was on it. After a few hours and a few beers he was very open about his (at the time) contract talks and other offers he'd had from other clubs and that he was favouring an offer from Wakey. Sure enough a few weeks later he'd signed for them. So it may not be as ridiculous he we may think. |
