You have to laugh at things like this. Bsically, hudgell is bleating to everyone else about his own overspending. He's got himslef into a dick waving contest and it's cost him a fortune. it is his decision how much he spends each year on player and other employees. He could easily spend £1/2m less on his playing staff and break even or even make a small profit. No one makes him spend the full cap and most clubs don't.

It's like me spending more than I earn year after year and bleating to my bank manager about it

Apparently the scenario of a spoof by a Hull FC fan has been suggested on the "unofficial" board and also on the KR forum here. My reaction to that is, given the alleged writer's day job, I find it astonishing that he has nothing whatsoever to say on the matter. I would've expected writs to be flying by now.
