What Mark Minichello have you been watching? Because the one I've watched the last few years is none of those things and has been a bench player for most of this year due to the emergence of Paul Carter.
Don't get me wrong, he's a decent signing, he's in the mould of Danny Tickle.

| Bang average signing given we don't need another 2nd rower, we seem to be able to produce our own, Hadley if he doesn't put on too much timber (as some ridiculously suggest he do) will be cementing his place as a cracking speedy 2nd rower & we have Thompson already.
I just think using Ellis at prop is a bit of a waste tbh, just shows know nothing Raford to be the incompetent he is..given the ridiculous amount of mnoney we'll be paying him and relocation expenses etc this must wrankle with upcoming players that are probably on peanuts comparatively.
So this busts the myth about bringing through youngsters then and we are back to throwing good money down the retirement home/pension route again...

Does it? Isn't he just replacing Tuson/Carvell? Haven't we just given Abdull a run and extended Hadley's contract? What intentions do you think the club have for the Tyson Wilsons, Turgut, Lancaster etc? He may be bang average, but Storm and Roosters tabled offers, so he's not completely useless it seems.

Problem is, you make a couple of valid points, especially the one about Hadley. But it's all wrapped in this anti-Radford rhetoric which does it no favours.
Personally I think an extra bit of experience won't hurt, we have a lot of younger kids coming through and the squad needs balance.

I think he'll be moving on. Based on no insight, but we've got back rowers coming through the academy who Radford will want to give opportunities to.

Thompson also ?. As for Minichiello I can see some peoples frustrations the signing isn't top draw but he will bring added experience and aggression to the team .

| The difficulty signing Australian players at the moment is they have such disregard for SL it's untrue. Only last week I watched Soward laughing saying his spell at London was great cause he could get fat and drink beer. Bowen was doing the same just before the WCC.
I'd have Minichiello over Pritchard every day of the week though.

| Whiting will be what he always is, a utility player, every season, we get will Whiting get a game and every season he plays over 20 games ( although he may fall slightly short this year).
After Thompson's impressive start this year he has been very poor the 2nd half of the season and needs to have a good finish and pre season.

Soward didn't do a bad job of getting fat at ST George either .
He also said this about his time at London
“[iIt was just such a fantastic three months. Tony told me to play footy. He told me to chip and chase, kick, step, go to the other side of the field, do whatever I wanted. I loved footy again. And I realised what it was I loved about footy.[/i

Firstly I'm not a fan of "impact" players. To many errors in their game. Pritchards also a bit lazy in pre season and keeping himself in nick, the injuries are catching up with him.

There's a interview of Bowen before the WCC of him laughing with Fittler about his weight gain in pre season.

I'd add getting rid of the shoulder charge has taken a big part of his game away as it has with a few big players this season .

What's that got to do with how serious he took it? Shall I ignore his interview last week?

It hasn't effected the top players, I actually think it's effected the smaller players more. Players like Josh Reynolds and Chris Sandow have had to improve their technique.

I agree with how its affected the smaller players more , But I think some of the impact of the big hitters like Masoe , Williams , Pritchard has really lessened imo. Stupid decision to get rid .
