We could add Ian Millward , Stuart Raper, Mathew Eliott and dare I say Justine Morgan - all inexperienced when appointed but non did a bad job- but just a minute there Aussies which of course makes it different. We will never move the British game forward unless we start to give young British Guys a chance - I am told by tonights Mail that Andy Last would be the fans favourite as assistant - shall we go for him?

Since the only other alternatives already at the club are Steve Crooks and Lee Crooks, I agree, Last would be favourite.

Have to say I don't know enough about Basil Richards coaching pedigree to pass comment on whether or not he will be any use and I suspect the vast majority of posters in this thread don't either.

Maybe, but looking at his past record he has not exactly covered himself in glory has he ? Let go from a team that was almost as bad as ours doesn't shout out top coaching prospect.

Maybe it's a cunning plan by Agar to make himself look like he knows what he is doing by employing an assistant who's even more clueless than he is!!!

The only positive I can see is if agar has been told that he can have an assistant but only a cheap one because if he doesn't perform next season him and his assistant will be sacked.

I think this will be highlighted by the length of contract that is offered

The whole club is a joke, we know that.

The WHOLE club is not a joke just most of it is. they are doing some good by make profits year on year.

If it wasnt for his brother stepping in for last match they would have got relegated, queensbury paid him £140 a week as well..dave halley got them relegated season after anyway.
