Reckon that's entirely down to how he goes this season. He'll have to perform well and be largely injury-free to get a new offer IMO. Obst getting a 2 year deal gives us a little breathing space on the decision is all.

He hasnt give Washbrook a chance in any position. Just like G.Horne, Hall, Lee etc.

To be fair Washbrook's 26 now and just not good enough. I'm not happy about Obst getting two years at least it means this year will be Washy's last at the club.

Decent signing if he's on the right contract terms. Hope he's a low earner and has come to provide back up over the next 2 years, if so it's an ok signing - what teams have a better back up 6 (whose there purely for back up)? 1 year would have been a good signing but 2 years isn't a disaster if he's taking up a small amount of cap.

Obst is ok but we get him and Phelps whilst Crusaders , that big welsh powerhouse of superleague have Sammut , Schifcoske , Witt and Withers.

Would you rather give players a chance or win games? I know that's harsh, and I'm all for developing our young talent. And for the record, I am a Washy fan. But he was in the same situation last year, struggling to get in the side. In the end he ended up playing a lot of games.

He's cover half and rotating hooker, not replacement for Long/Horney.

He was but like i said he'll be played in 6 different positions in 6 consecutive weeks. Thats why we didnt see the best from Berro aswell.

If we have an injury Agar opts to make about 6 positional changes rather than one. Im a big fan of continuity, look at the teams at the top.
