It's not a quality view, its an end view which is a view a lot of people don't like. Big Clue - look at the ticket prices for any sporting event - the tickets on the ends cost less than those with a side view. I know that an unobstructed view is a something dobbins fans aren't used to (like soap for example) but there's more to a good view than that. I'll be watching on TV, there's a few more years before needed yet to forget grudge's attitude and singling out of Hull fans so why should he be rewarded with my cash?

Maybe let your club know that aswell as the North stand at the KC stadium is £25 and it's also an end view. Adding also that the exact same view in the South stand for Hull fans is £6 cheaper. Hull are also offering discounts to away fans which started against Bradford which bring the price for away fans to under £20 for the 1st time in seven years. This is for select teams I.E teams that probably wouldn't have brought many fans. You can guarantee this will not apply to the derby. Just like Rovers previous South stand discounts haven't. It's called supply and demand.

Really don't understand why anyone feels the need to justify not going to the game to Rovers fans or anyone for that matter. If your not going then whatever the reason is its obviously a big enough reason to you personally to stop you going so it's valid. No need to explain yourself to anyone. If certain Rovers fans want to put it down to a fear of losing (despite us consistently taking the most fans to the magic weekend with a shocking losing record) then that says more about them then you.

Those of us on here old enough to remember the derby games of old, played during the winter months at the old Craven park and the Boulevard will also remember the grounds been filled to the rafters on derby days.
Both grounds facilities in those days were no where near the standards of today but you rarely heard people saying.... I'm not going to this or that sh..t hole, such was the fanatical passion of both sets of supporters .
I cannot understand any fan of either side who say they wont go to either of the two grounds on the basis that it puts money in the others coffers or the ground is cr..p etc etc.
In my opinion, anyone who comes out with such excuses is either a part time supporter or a soft pussy wussy .

I've watched many a derby from the away end at the boulevard not having a clue what was going on at the other end of the pitch because of the sheer distance away!! we just got on with it in them days and didn't use it as an excuse not to turn up and cheer our team on win, lose or draw!!

My point which you so spectacularly managed to miss is that nobody should have to give an "excuse" for not attending the game. Whatever the reason happens to be it is valid to that person otherwise they would be going. Whether you think its valid or not is immaterial.

Are you really comparing the view from the Gordon st end at the Boulevard to the thing you laughingly call a stand.
