When people talk about a coach losing the dressing room and the players don't want to play for him I always think it's rubbish. They maybe don't respect Radford but these guys are professional players and they want to win for the fans, their team mates and most importantly themselves. They aren't just going to stop trying because they don't like the coach. However there may well be an element of the players deciding they don't agree with what Radford is saying so they all do their own thing instead, which would explain the shambles that is our attacking structure.

If only it was that simple. Sport is littered with coaches/managers who having been successful at a club move on and cannot repeat that success.

Cant remember last time, we appointed a successful Head Coach before.

I was merely commenting on this statement. "Employ a proven first team coach, - everything else will fall into place". If FC appointed a proven head coach it would improve the chances of success, not guarantee it as the quote suggests.

we had a decent coach, some of the players stopped playing because he was being undermined by the encumbant and a couple of kn0bheads on the playing rosta.
Radford won't be able to garner ANY respect from the players because he's shown he has no morals and is a lying backstabber.
I'd rather prefer someone within the club to show a bit of backbone and name and shame those behind what happened at Huddersfield and the binning off of Gentle.
Get Pearson to admit he made a hash of employing Radford, get shot of them (including Andy Last for me as well) then we can start afresh.

The club is in a shocking position and it needs someone with a pair of boll0cks to get the club cleansed..starting with the cancer that is Radford, nothing else will do IMO.

So you have all the inside information then about what is going on inside the club except the names of the miscreants at Huddersfield. How come this vital bit of information has escaped you ?

Isnt that what we were told that radford was going to stand no nonsense,yet we are at our lowest ebb for a while.
A big clearout is required starting with radford.

I was under the impression garnered from AP's statements that it is Radford that is undertaking the "big clearout", hence the amount of players out on loan? I'm not including Ben Crooks in this. (edited for poor spelling

I'll not take notice of your statements in the future! AP is the club owner and it is his decisions that the club will abide by, right or wrong, and yes I do take notice of his statements, he's running the club I support.

Indeed. The players obviously forgot all about it in the Saints and Cas games then it suddenly came back to them.

Ruining the club is a massive overstatement, ok this season hasn't been great, but the last two have been pretty good. Massive investment off the field on players, facilities and youth.

Let's put it this way, he has invested a few million and without him there is a good chance we would have gone the same way as Bradford.

There is no doubt he has made mistakes, but if the fans stick behind him I really feel he will be a success as a Hull owner in the long run.

He needs to give Radford some coaching support next season (which I think is happening) as he won't get rid just yet. If we start next season badly I think he will go.

The problem is if you start the season badly next year and lose 4 or 5 of the opening games its then probably too late for any new coach to rescue the season to ensure a top eight finish.
teams are recruiting well and I have to say we are well behind in key positions.
Pearson should use his common sense and realise he has made a major error in appointing Radford as first team coach and ask him to stand down to save both their faces.

I agree, but I don't think there is any chance of him going this year, for whatever reason AP think Radford Is the right man for the job.

Also I think we will beat Rovers next week, we are a much better team at home than away.
