Is the reason the Sun and other dont cover it because of the above or is not followed by 99% of the population because the Sun and others dont cover it. I have no interest in school rugby (and I suspect neither do 99.99% of the population) but it dosent stop the Dail Mail giving it more coverage than a normal Super League weekend.

lets put it in perspective, a semi pro rugby player bets against own team, he didnt even play in the game yet the headline screams rugby league betting scandal! it is true we are a minority sport with very little in the way of column inches in the national press, the editor of the sun has no interest in rugby league but has all of a sudden found three pages for us, it is a clear effort to smear rugby league, the article even states that r.l. is played by a group of players within the m62 corridor, just to point out how insignificent we really are, of course nothing like that ever happens in union (fake blood), or cricket (match fixing) or football (dodgy world cup panel, match fixing) i still support the best game in the world safe in the knowledge that there is not too much more sleazy than a copy of the sun.
