Same all crap from a few posters as usual, yes we lost again but even in defeat we played better than we did a lot of last season. Westerman, Conner and Shaul played great games but so did a lot of others.

Miloudi, I wanted him to play but yes need Dawson in next week just goes to show Radford was right there.

Looked a lot sharper in attack and if we keep it up we will still be okay this season.

I'm much more frustrated by tonight than last week.
I know a lot won't agree but I don't think we are a million miles away.
We looked far better in attack than last week and Westerman was a huge plus.
Defensively it looked like individual errors rather than anything systemic although I'd really like to see better line speed rather than just standing and waiting.
Miloudi has certainly blown his chance tonight.
Mid-table definitely beckons but a win isn't too far away, we play Wigan the week after the WCC so that's fallen ok for us.

We don't seem to have a 'next man up' attitude. Radford talks about injuries all the time instead of refusing to and saying " next man up will do his job at their best - injuries are part and parcel and we refuse to discuss that as a reason for losing"

What gets me is when we do up the tempo we usually make a mistake so it fizzles out very quickly. You can normally trace most of them mistakes back to the old guard.

Need some speed and a better leader IMO.

Our second row is as bad as anything in the league. Mini, Manu, Hadley, Washbrook. Literally not one of them is good enough for a team aiming for silverware. At least Lane has potential but he isn't there yet. Paea being brought back for a second spell was a terrible bit of recruitment. His performances in the first two games have been Hutch Maiava-esque. There were a lot of good of things about tonights performance, but ultimately the pack isn't good enough. If Taylor gets injured we are absolutely screwed.

Our pack has gone from our greatest strength to our biggest weakness.
Recruitment / retention is going to come back and haunt us. Just thought that when they had to, Cas were able to up the tempo when needed. We don’t have that ability, just panic rugby.
Just competing is not enough I’m afraid.
We need a win, and a change of how we play.

Particularly when we play at Wembley.

You can't always tell from the stands, but am I right in thinking the ref was a bit of a Charlie uniform november tango, or was he right in most cases from the TV viewing? I don't like to blame the ref for defeats, but I can't help thinking we win that game if it wasn't televised.

The best team won but there was little in it. Unfortunately one aspect was that Cas were better at playing the referee. Kendall was awful. Cas only had to throw themselves on the floor after the tackle or drop the ball and he gave a penalty. Not sure which of our players got over the line near the end - it was never a try - but three Cas players tugged at the ball and he never gave a thing. McShane definitely smarter and a better communicator than anyone on our team.

Agree. Taylor is the carrying the props again. Paea didn't seem to be on the field for long and when he was he was ineffective.

We need a big aggressive prop who does big minutes and has a great off load. Their number 8 fits the bill.

And the most of the noise coming from the stands screaming for off side, not square Ect Ect Ect....That was the loudest Ive heard you lot in a while. Nowt to do with the ref......You just aint That good End of.

Cas fan here and agree with most that has been said so far. I think we just about deserved the win and if the defeat wasn't the 13 on the trot I don't think as much would have been made of it as you were what after all is a decent team.
I know this may hurt as Houghton is a bit of a folk hero but despite his work rate he was very poor at dummy half tonight. Macca V Danny was the crucial contest and Macca won.
