If city had been good enough to beat 1 of the bottom 3 there wouldnt have been any problems!

To be honest for the City of Hull I hope City can get the results they need at the weekend. There last visit to the Premier League did more to raise the profile of Hull than either of the rugby teams have done for decades.

I'm puzzled by the late request to change our game, arrogance and poor management are both highlighted publicly by making the request. I guess the spin is to make us look like the bad guys but even simple soccer fans will see that the fault "lies" closer to home

If City do manage to go up what are the implications for us, will Friday nights be a thing of the past or do we have some say on when we play our games?

If city do go up we will play our home games on friday nights for a few seasons, you would expect city to play a 3rd of games on a sunday as all english teams playing in europe play on sundays, so they wont want to keep asking fc to change there games will they?
Premiership games are never played on friday nights so that will be our slot till they go down.

I see Steve Bruce falls into the "I will use any excuse available rather than point out my own short comings" class.

The fact is, that soccer damages pitches far more than rugby every will due to the amount of sliding and the concentrated areas of the pitch where players congregate.

There must have been a full on stampede of Wild Boar's on the Oakwell and Molineux pitches recently



I have no axe to grind with Hull City, or the majority of their fans for that matter. However, it appears those who choose to leave their ill informed comments on the HDM webside tarnish the decent many.

5500 disappointed glory hunters go to Oakwell yet they managed to take less than 300 to Turf Moor only a couple of month ago.

Just a little point but on the Mail comments section a few City posters are mentioning us moving to Costello. Now i know theyre probably mischeif making but what happens if theyre not? Is there any truth in this both short or long term?

Why feed the trolls? It's obviously complete rubbish and by questioning it you've given it some credit.

Bad planning on City's part, the games always kick off at the same time/day on the final day of the Championship season...so they've had all season to prepare for this, and for a good couple of months it has been likely that their season would go down to the last game.

Real shame it's come to this, we should be celebrating the possibility of having four teams in the elite leagues of their sport.
Instead you've got a divide between both clubs and their sets of fans, mainly down to one person.

Doesn't the Premier League have some rule about pitch use 24 hrs before a game? Wasn't our Good Friday derby put back because Wigan Athletic were playing the following day so Wigan - Saints had to be an early start? Could be the end of your Friday nights?

We switched to Friday nights in 2009 when City were in the Premiership and Wigan still play Friday nights.

premier league can have what rules they want.they cant stop hull playing on friday.its a council owned stadium.

Might be worth asking on the Wigan board, they'll know the score.

the only team to suffer if premier league have this ruling is city.they would either have to start playing on a sunday or pack there bags and go play somewhere else.the kc stadium is not football property.
