Obst would only have signed for a two-year deal, he would have seen his deal out at Wakey otherwise.

He will be a good signing for you. 100% every week and offers something different to what you already have. A much better hooker than half though. We'll miss him at Wakey, been a great servant for us.

People don't want to pay to over £20 a home game to get little return on there investment. Which is understandable IMO. We have being patient since Cooke left, since then they has being three full seasons of Rugby and we have sat and watched other teams go by us.

I'm with you on this one Scott. Hull are developing a habit of ruining players they have spent money on developing. When Washy was settled at LF everybody was raving about him being a future captain and possible International. He has been fecked about something cronic over the past three seasons. Had they left him at LF there would have been no need to spend money of a transfer fee for Westerman.

Fools ..with Phelps & Obst on board it's champagne rugby league all the way to Old Trafford...I for one thank christ I had the foresight to get my pass before Berro & Tansey left and we signed these two behemoth's of the game....who's laughing now eh!!

Westerman is head and shoulders above Washy, as will be proved when he plays 13, he had a poor game yesterday however that does not make him as poor as Washy

I think that it's a good signing overall. He gives much needed rotation for Houghton at Hooker, and will be better at this than Washbrook. He's also acceptable cover for the half-back position, although I'm really hoping that we sign a new first-choice half for next season.
