It sounds to me like a chairman who has gone from being media friendly to media shy since his decleration in December and is seriously concerned about the position of his team and their ability to avoid relegation, and who wouldn't.

I for one do not want to see Hull City relegated as it brings a lot of positives to the city of Hull and I have friends who for some reason like this game, even somebody in my family.

However I think we are owed an apology and a response from the City Council for the SMC not allowing rugby the international.

The national Daily Mail, rather like the Hull Daily Mail, is prone to excessive bouts of hyperbole and doesn't just court the blame culture, but has several children by it!

Consequently, it has attracted a readership who believes everything that happens in the world is either going to kill them or has someone or something attached which they can blame to the ends of the earth to help make them feel a bit better.

In other words, a lot of people on this thread are feeding off other's hyperbole, and feel the need to blame the first person that comes to hand.
