He learned the trick from O'Meley who lured Mason over by pretending there is only one club in Hull and Mason had signed up to join his mate. O'Meley sent loads of glossies to prove it. I'll never forget the news footage of Mason's bemused look of dismay when he clapped eyes on Poorhouse Lane and it's clapboard building for the first time.

I actually thought that Heremaia started the season excellently, but went downhill when he was moved into the halves.

Have to stick with Rankin and Miller. If either is dropped after the Hudds performance, it shows that Radders is just picking his mate....

The future should be based on Rankin and Miller, not Horne. Jesus, he's been great for Hull FC, but its about time he took a seat on the bench.

I agree. I love Horne. He's been a great player for us and he's still got something to offer the team but the future is Rankin and Miller in the halves. We need to let that partnership blossom. And they are playing well together IMO and neither deserves to be dropped. I'm sure Radders said he would pick players based on form. If that's the case then Horne must now have to wait for a dip in form or an injury before he gets back in the halves.

Will Radders do that though? We'll know on Thursday night but I won't be the least bit surprised to see Horne straight back in the halves given some of his comments over the last few weeks. Let's hope that what ever selection he goes with that it's the right call.

Horne should start on the bench. He can come on to give Houghton a breather or for one of the halves if things aren't working there but I would let Miller and Rankin start.

Horne has got to be the ideal bench utility player. Having said that it was difficult to have him and Hazza on the bench with that taking out one of the big guys. Until the last couple of weeks you couldn't really leave Hazza out but his form has definitely dipped so for me Horne on the bench in his place makes sense or if Hazza's injured it's a no brainer. Horne can cover the halves , hooker , full back and LF at a push.

According to Radford, Heremia not injured, feels like he has lost a bit of zip recentley.

Dropping Azza is his worst decision to date by far. Players sometimes have a slight dip in form they can't be great every week. Houghton started the season poorly but he didn't get dropped.

Smacks of Radford putting Horne into the 17 no matter what.

I think we need to wait until tomorrow and also how Heremia responds to see if it he worst decision.

I he wanted Horne in, he wouldn't have dropped Heremia, he would have dropped Miller or Rankin.

People just like to have digs about Radford and his favourites.

Horne should be stepped back unless there's an injury crisis. Sorry, but nothing he does warrants a place in the team.

Lots of digs as well it seems. Radford would appear to put great stock on levels reached in games and training. Maybe it's been too easy to put 70 or 80 percent in and get away with it in times past. Dropping a senior player like Azza sends out a strong signal.

Yes lets wait and see what happens. Express your doubts by all means but wait until after the game before crucifying (a bit of Easter relevance there

If we lose, it doesn't mean Radford was wrong of course, as we may have done even worse without the changes, but I know what his critics will be saying.

I agree with you, Radders is just to inconsistent with his promoting and dropping of players. I really do hope he gets it right tomorrow.

theres no reason Houghton can't manage 80 mins with Shaul helping out with his fast scoots from the acting half...giving us an extra forward from the bench & Horne as pivotal cover or any position in the three quarters.

Not many bigger Aaron h fans than me but he's right. Has dropped off. The real azza behind our forwards of last week would of torn Huddersfield to bits. Was decidedly quiet!
The whole mates thing is boring and childish. Most the coaches in the league are coaching personal friends ex teammates etc.
Horne on bench makes massive sense. Danny can do 80 often does, wouldn't want him to every week but if needs must. Our young halves could find it tough-Horne an option, also talonoa supposedly struggling with calf if he doesn't make it breaks down home could come into the centre or even full back with Jamie or whiting on wing, and at a push could cover 9 for a short spell.
Makes a lot of sense to me!!

If Horney has come in for a straight swap for Azza then no problem, I just don't want Radders dropping form players for the sake of it.
