Personally I still have major problems with Pearson and Radford (mostly Pearson) attributing all of our cap ills to Gentle & McRae, they were both at the club all that time, too. I'd sooner just judge the coaches on what they get out of the players they have available, and apart from about half a dozen games bookending the season, I still think Gentle was better than Radford has been so far.

Can you please point out where I've mentioned salary figures? I haven't because I don't know them. It's not difficult to work out that Pitts would be on a lot more than Hadley, but how much is surprising. In a salary cap sport when value for money is key are you happy to have Pitts on a 6-figure salary? (Reported in many places, not just on here).

AP told Smiggs on here that we're not playing with a full salary cap, yet our wage bill is over £2.2m. People don't want to know that though.

To be able to get things right on the pitch you need things right off the pitch, that's a fact. Why not just let AP and LR get on with it and judge them over a longer time span than 9 months?

How do you know Gentle wouldn't improved on a 6th place finish and a challenge cup runners up, maybe it was Gentle and Hull who needed rid of Radford and the people who wasn't on board with Gentle, maybe the restructuring wasn't as complicated as needed to be

Ap has been quoted as saying our salary cap expenditure was hopeless. He got rid of the 2 culprits responsible. He's employed Radford to do a job. AP appears happy with the results so far. Our recruitment has gone well so far and more to come apparently. If I was a betting man, of course I'm not, I'd put money on you, Standee an Bonaire being one and the same person.
