The potential upside of signing prince is massive but, likewise, the potential downside (at his age, moving to a new country etc.) is also massive. Still think the better long term signing for the club is an up and coming player with his best days ahead of him, and a huge wedge of cash still left to play with. Signing prince is pretty much putting all of our eggs in one basket

Only thing I hope is that it's not going to be another Will He/ Won't He situation for months like Rangi.

The worry is how much he'll have left in the tank at 33, 34 and 35. Personally, I hope we sign miller

I watch NRL and I think he takes it to the line. Doesn't show and go as much as he did and he has lost a bit of pace but I think if he is a better option than Seymour. His short kicking game is one of the best around. Long kicking aint great but Holdsworth is good in that department so a fair balance. Agree a 3 year deal (if rumour has it) is too long and a younger option would be ideal but with the NRL salary cap increasing its going to be a lot harder to get class Aussie players. The future looks good for us. Young English players with a wealth of Australian experienced players. Things are looking bright. Come on you Hull!!!

Appreciate he's not what he was, but this is SL, he'd have the time and space he doesn't get over there. I hope we get chance to see.
I'm no expert though pal. I thought Seymour would do a job for us from what I'd seen of him, and look where that got us.

I think Prince will be a good signing if its 2 years with an option for a 3rd. If its 3 years its a massive risk.

Could be a risk, but let's not forget that he would come to partner Holdsworth, who is far younger and playing good rugby.

And AP and PG are a darn sight more professional than Kath etc too.

Dont get how people can compare possible signing of prince as similiar to that of mckinnon / seymour.

The previous owners signed these players through agents. They didnt know the players personally apart from what they had seen on tv. Gentle knows and has worked with both Prince and Miller. He will know what motivates them.

Either player will be darn sight better than what we have had to put up with in the past.

Why bother with a room there's plenty of lay bys for that kind of behaviour.
