For the money he'll of been on this yr hes been a revelation. Seen far more of crookes n colbon than id of liked anyway so without tala we'd of really struggled.

I'm happy with that, but I'd use him in centres/second row. Shown some nice touches in attack. Yeamans replacement.

Depending on how Lancaster goes for the rest of the season and pre season I would be tempted to give him the 2 shirt and use Talanoa either as utility back cover, or further in field. I don't know if his defence is good enough to play in the back row, but he would cause problems in attack with his strength and footwork.

Good enough to start and can cover 1 to 5 while at the same time being easy to drop in favour of a youngster. I'm happy with that.

He doesn't have the skill or ability to play centre either.

I think we should rate Talanoa next season with a proper pre season under his belt.

Pleased he has signed another season,and has had a solid 1st season,but if radford thinks he is one of the best wingers in the league,it explains why were in the position we are in the league.To be fair iam not sure winger his his best position,maybe centre ?

I don't think Radford said he was one of the best wingers, I think he said he was one of the best at winning the ruck when returning kicks. I've not noticed to be honest but I'll be looking for it now.

dont think many have,his carries out of our end when under extreme pressure have been outstanding at times.few times this yr hes had some great breaks out of nothing. Pure strength n a little footwork!
Getting very little love on here n for me from where he was n for how much we've had him for in our cap hes been a revelation. Think with an off season in him he could be great. Sa n him would be a powerfull combo.

It's his defensive positioning that I assume concerns people. It was the big criticism against him from his time at Souths. He'll get better I'm sure.

He has been a good signing and miles better than our last wing signings Crookes, Colbon, Sharp ... Calderwood.

He didn't - it's another example of the Hull Daily Mail putting words into people's mouths. The headline is not reflected in Radford's words.

I don't think he is great, has brain farts and the odd dropped ball. Positioning as mentioned is suspect. But, he is not by any means a bad player and his heart and commitment cannot be questioned. Love watching him run the ball back with gusto. Glad we have kept him and reckon he will improve.

And lets face it, he is far far far down the list of FC's problems!

Get a pre season down this kid, & work on a bit of his positional play, & we have a very good team player, he returns the ball very well, & does a lot of work to help the forwards, making good metres.

Got to say I think hes bin one of the best signings this year..
Plus hes one of favourite players.

Hes great after we score, the way he jumps around the pitch and pumps up the crowd.

I liked it when he ran away from the players in the kr friendly, in a bet they all had.

Played every minute of the season apparently. Very good signing by Radford.

I do like our Junkyard Binman. He was fired up tonight. He got the crowd back in it and got the team going again in the second half.

I like bin man, give his all, can score a try, been out of the game for such a long time, can see he is enjoying rugby again, best performance had to be b kr at kc. Like rankin he gets it, he has pride in the shirt

I wonder if he's the first Hull player to do every minute in a season since Colin Best? Don't remember him going off at any point this year.

Been a fantastic signing, and looking fitter and more confident as the year goes on. Still only 26 too (27 in November)

Not the quickest winger but certainly turning out to be a handful for opposing wingers . Showed some good form of late .
