Why drag Ellis, Burgess and Widdop half way round the world for a meaningless game?

Well done to Tom. He struggled earlier in the season but has done well in recent weeks.

Means he'll miss the Salford game though so hopefully Calderwood is back then.

In international RL no game should be classed as meaningless, we ony play 4 per year as it is!

I can sort of understand your thinking regards Burgess and Ellis, we do know what they can do already, but Widdop is a totally different case. No-one had heard of him until February so on that basis I think he should definitely come over so he can be seen in a competitive game with France rather than throwing him in at the deep end against New Zealand or the Aussies
