Sneyd signing would surprise me. Yes, he's young and British but we have 2 very good young British halves coming through the ranks. Dureau, however, does seem more like what we are looking for. Experienced, good quality to replace Horne when he retires, and lead the younger halves.

A Dureau/Sneyd partnership would work very well -IMO

I'd like to be greedy and have both and release Miller.

For the 7 position Sneyd is miles a head of Miller, better kicker, passer and organiser.

So is Dureau but I'm not sure what that Scott to do with anything.

dureau for me if he is available. sneyd looks OK in a cas side who are on fire but not sure he could come in and give us what we need straight away plus HTW is earmarked for the 7 shirt in the next 2 or 3 years and we don't want his development hindered

Is he? Didn't realise as everyone has been touting him as the answer to our scrum half problems. I still think sneyd would suffer at Hull as he would be expected to do everything and not sure he is at that level yet

It's irrelevant what number he's got on his back, he plays the typical 7 role. Cooke wore 6.

Id go for Sneyd, five year deal and build the team around him for years to come. As good as he is I always worry that with any Aussie if they find some form then they'll sod off back to OZ and were back to square one

I do agree he could play 7, as he does have the skill set, but his strongest part of his game is his running, so he could easily play at sand off.

I'd say the best part of HTW game is his kicking. Ridiculously good for a young kid. He'd show up a lot of super league players kicking games.

I've just a nagging feeling that if these boys turn out as good as people seem to think they will that Craig Murdoch will be trying to take them to oz . Think map sports have signed up Brad Parker ?

Hasn't this season been a bicep injury , and not his problems of last season ?

That's my view. He was the best half in SL pre his illness and he's barely played since so unless les cats don;t feel he'll ever be right again why would tehy let him go? I just think he won't play again this year so they've signed a short term replacement and de-registered dureau until 2015

as it stands dureau is just a rumour.hulls not mentioned him as a target.
